Grate Cooler

Overview

Grate cooler is mainly used for cooling and conveying cement clinker and providing hot air for the rotary kiln and decomposing furnace, and it is the main equipment for heat recovery in the calcination system. With the fast development of the modern and new dry type cement production technology and equipment and the constant improvement of the cement clinker grate cooler technology, clinker grate cooler with high efficiency and reliable operation becomes the key to ensuring the production capacity of the system.

Advantages

The feeding end of grate cooler produced by our company uses advanced KID system and pulse air supply, so that the clinker that is discharged from the kiln and that has high temperature is fast cooled, thus improving the strength and grindability of the clinker and improving the operational rate of the equipment, so that it is suitable for clinker production line with the yield of 1000 tons per day or over.

The clinker with high temperature falls to the grating bed from the outlet of the kiln, under the push of the grating bar that is pushing back and forth, and distributes along the grating bed and forms a material bed with a certain thickness. The cooling air blows from under the material bed up into the material layer and penetrates and spreads and cools the hot clinker. The cooling air that cools the clinker will become hot air which will go into the kiln and the decomposing furnace as calcining air, and part of the hot air will also be used for drying the clinker, and the redundant hot air will be discharged into the air after dust collection.
